Possum If this does turn out to be the solution; order a second bushing in case you lose it or it gets damaged in cleaning. I always have a spare because I lost one, I assume it went down the sink drain while washing things up or rolled somewhere I can’t see. I never found it. I remembered Jon/Austin saying to always keep an extra auger bushing and an extra stuffer seal ring on hand. I now have spares of both on hand!
L*m #12 grinder. Do any of the mixers fit?

L*m #12 grinder. Do any of the mixers fit? To narrow the scope, it could help any brand and I don’t really need a 50 lb mixer, but if that’s all that fits…

Can’t say for the Walton’s one. I have the same brand as your grinder in a 20lb. Unless you are making a large batch, a 50lb mixer would probably not be a good choice. To get a good mix in my 20 lb., I need at least 10 lbs of meat. I’m guessing the same would apply to the 50 lb mixer.

No one will commit to their mixer fitting other grinders they don’t know model number, year, driveshaft, motor size, etc.Walton’s has a 50lb mixer that can be attached to a motor. I have a thread where I gathered all the anecdotal posts folks have made where they successfully used it with other grinders. I can’t find it with search just now. But here is a recent #22 hookup
https://meatgistics.waltons.com/topic/5608/walton-s-50-mixer-l*m-big-bite-22-compatibleI think the only 20 lb mixer you can hook to a motor is from L E .M. don’t know what motor size. I wish Walton’s sold a 20lb motorized mixer, 50 is too big for my batches to mix, doesn’t work well with 10 or 11 lbs.
I use my kitchenaid and can do 5lb batches, so smaller than I want, or use my hand crank 20 lb mixer.

Thanks for the updates. News I assumed, just didn’t want to hear.

I had a adapter made, take hand crank off,and chuck into a half inch cordless drill on my 20# mixer. Easier than cranking!
