mrobisr that’s what I do also. I use the brush as just a final step. Usually nothing on it at that point.

Jonathon I think it would be great, vs using a small one & always having the inverter with you. I would find it best for fishing, especially if fishing (& catching) things like Tuna, where you want to fillet or steak fast, but not be in contact with a lot of water. Vac pack, & get on ice. I had a discussion with someone not too long ago on taking a packer into the field. We concluded that we might not necessarily use something like that for the regular meat as we like to age it first, etc. However, it might be good for quick packing things like the hearts, kidneys, livers, etc.
