Foothills Moonshine Sausage
-
So, to be honest I always thought this was a nasty smelling seasoning, and I had zero interest in making it. Then I was going through seasonings today and I saw that Foothills Moonshine Flavored Sausage Seasoning has some seriously positive reviews on it. Figured, why not try it, whats the worst that happens, I don’t like it and we get a funny podcast/social media bit out of me not liking something!

Jonathon ok so what’s better, the foothills seasoning or mashed potatoes?
-
Well it either killed him or he is still eating and enjoying every bite!
-
pepperettes Haven’t started it yet! Sorry, got caught up in some Google Analytics/advertising issues. That thing is COMPLEX! I’ll do that and another cooking thing tomorrow. Ridley Acres I mean…it has to be Foothills, right? Its at least meat, its not some nasty tube that grows in the ground that can ONLY be made good by cutting up into strips and deep frying in oil

Jonathon I have some & was hoping to try it with some venison sausage, but have been unable to try it yet.
-
Stuffed and on the grill, will let you know how it is in a bit.

We should sell 500 times the amount of that than we currently do. I cooked them on the side sear box so MAYBE that has something to do with it but they taste like steak brats or something. That is a top 10 EASY and it might be significantly higher than that…I am perplexed and annoyed that it took me this long!

Okay, brought it around to everyone, some people said bland but most people liked it and agreed it tasted more like beef. That could have partly been from cooking it on the side sear box though…surprised by how much i enjoyed that
-
Jonathon Great! I cannot wait to try it with the stuff we have here. Alex or Andrew better hurry up & get a deer or I am going to have to find the beef.
