lkrfletcher Yes I would absolutely believe it. Even we got some annoying comments when we did the Mountain Lion video. And people have this insane belief that large cats and bears will leave you alone if you leave them alone. Yes, generally they’d rather eat something else but if they are hungry or sick you are on the menu. Plus, especially Mountain Lions are a major threat to your pets.

I had buddies move to Colorado after highschool and the environment that they described is VERY different than what it seems to be like today.

Jonathon yep, California residents are finding that out on the regular. Big cats don’t care about your feelings, when they are hungry and little fluffy is out and about, they will pounce!

Jonathon you mean Disney movies are not real? Say it isn’t so. It amazes me how sheeple do not realize how dangerous apex and other predators can be. They basically kill for 2 reasons (as you have mentioned) food and territory (ussually protection of offspring or self). The thing is, they are extremely efficient killers. Heck, even Bobcats have been known to take down adult deer and farm animals. Hungry can be a huge motivator for any species.
