First time curling

Scratch one off the bucket list. The family all took an introduction to curling class. We then played a few ends and my son made the winning shot. We had a blast! I’ve also been watching the Curling National Championship with team USA on YouTube.

OleSmokey We had a curling center in my old hometown, I drove by it 1000s of times and never once went in. Always sounded like fun!

My wife and I started watching curling when they would show it late night during the 2002 Winter Games in Salt Lake City. I remember there was a color guy/analyst named “Don” who was expert at explaining everything to all those who were watching it for the first time (including, pretty much, the play-by-play guy!) We’ve enjoyed watching it ever since and have been so very impressed with how the USA has matured its team!

My son Matt and his wife Jen just did a tournament this past weekend. I started watching during the Olympics about twelve years ago. Pretty cool.
