No I think I left the meat too long in the freezer chilling it and a frozen chunk of meat clogged the stuffing tube and it finally burst loose with a bang. I also must have had a lot of air trapped in the the stuffer to blow all the casing off. I will definitely be careful not getting the meat too cold prior to stuffing when doing small diameter casings. Can’t quite figure the air out as I installed an air blender on my stuffing plate but the casing sure looks like it was Blown Off and it made a Big Bang!!

Please give feedback on this product. Like do they work, how well do they work and are they worth the money. Whatever you can share about this product. Never seen or heard of before. Very interesting.
Thank you in advance for your response’s -
Jesser That product is supported by many positive comments from people who make many pounds of sausage or grind for patties.

Jesser they work well at helping to get most the meat out of the stuffer. Easy to clean by just tossing in the dishwasher.

Jesser These work very well & I recommend them. If you use a large stuffing tube or a patty maker, keep your eyes open at the end, it can end up in the end of the link or last patty. Enjoy!

So what is the best method of use. Put them on top of the grind and go? or stuff the casings and when pretty much empty back the stuffer up and then drop them in? To clear the elbow?

toys4dlr yep, stuff until meat stops coming out, back out the piston, place the eggs over the pipe where meat is and shove them down in a bit, you can actually pretty much do it by hand. Or lower puston and shove them in there
You can search the zon for a week and not find a better chunk of compressible, sealed, foam, of roughly correct diameter and squishiness. They work well.

Jesser Just used them this morning for filling ground burger into bags, the work very well and are easy to clean.
-
toys4dlr I put them in a bowl of water then into the stuffer after it is empty. The water makes them slippery allowing them to get into the throat of the stuffer pushing pretty much all of the meat out. They are awesome, I wish I had them years ago!
-
Just purchased them and used them for the first time. They are worth every penny!! You can clean out all but a tiny bit of meat and if doing bigger chubs and sausages you get is all because it runs through the tube. A must have!!

It will never not amaze me how popular these things are! Also, we really only have them because of a random comment by Dr_Pain . Speaking of him, I tried emailing him a few months ago to see if he is okay, but havent heard back. Ill try reaching out again to see if we can get an update.

Jonathon I have really wondered what happened to him & Chef. I tried contacting Chef too, but no response. I hope they are both OK.

Dave in AZ I am sort of annoyed at myself cause I was SURE I emailed him about 4-6 months ago to check on him, but nothing in my sent items to him from that time period! 2022 was REALLY not my year! So far, 2023 is off to a much much better start both at work and mentally!
