Here’s another life lesson for you fellers. If your wife calls you from the grocery store and says, “Hey, I’m already at the store right now, do you want me to buy my Valentine’s flowers so you don’t have to drive over?”…

IT’S A TRAP!
I thought the clear correct answer was, “Yes, great idea, it will save some gas and let me keep cooking you this nice dinner.”

I was wrong.
Like 10 min later I got thinking… I called my daughter. “Are you with Mommy now? Ok, I am deputizing you as my Valentine’s Agent, tell her YOU are buying them flowers as my Trusted Agent!”

I’m not sure if that recovery worked or not, but my wife laughed about it so, Trap Evaded!

@wvotrfan No, just need to make sure I am really happy with the purchase I guess, in the past I’d probably have just done it but now that I am saving my “spending money” for a specific thing I just need to be more careful!
