I don’t think there is much, if any, difference.
I would be looking for one with similar dimensions to the original one. -

Denny O If you type in model number of your smoker when you search amazon you can scroll down to specs and it will list which models they will fit. Not all the time but most times.

I took a quick look and found this to replace everything and upgrade your control . I bought a kit like this for my grill and it works a lot better and has been in for 4 yrs now with no problems

Chefs, I thank you very much for all of your help!
IT won’t be till next week sometime before I can take a further look at it.I’ve got a fisherman’s swap meet to deal with this weekend, meat sticks in my gasser today and tomorrow then we will see what else. I’ve got 3 clients that are requiring my attention for various home repairs so I’m a bit busy for now.
Thank You! once again.

This got me curious. I went to the rec tec web site and did not see a replacement controller offered there. I wonder where they are getting them.

processhead Last I knew you had to supply your right arm and first born to get one and only if you could return the bad one before receiving a new one from RecTeq. A neighbor across the street has a bull.

Denny O It was a youtube video… Well over a year ago.

caryfr5 Thanks, It looks easy peasy! I see All I have to do is call RecTeq to get the controller of course it will be a voided warranty. I watched 2 different videos, the second one was even in my series.
