Thought I’d make a thread for meals you bought that had somethimg to do with sausage! There are a ton of places that do steak or meat chops, but not too many that have special sausage dishes. So this is just for those sausage-centric neat meals you find and want to share with other sausage-enthusiasts!
I’ll start with a classic we read about here often:
Bangers and Mash! Cumberland bangers with Guinness onion gravy.
Drinking an actual hand-pumped Cask Ale from the area I lived in England, Greene King Abbot Ale (ESB)! Also, a half pint of Wells Bombardier Bitter, because they had it and great beers deserve to be compared! processhead johnsbrewhouse
At the Dandelion Pub, Philadelphia. -

Ok, this one is near and dear to my heart, look what I found at the Philly airport!
Sorry for pic, you have to click on menu to see it, it won’t let me crop or resize pics… Walton’s says unsupported file format if I edit on my phone
That’s right, Taylor Pork Roll! This is how it is mainly used in its native stomping grounds of Philly/Jersey, on a breakfast sandwich.
I’ve got a thread on making this awesome SPAM like bacony pork summer sausage baloney stuff, will link here.
https://meatgistics.waltons.com/topic/5954/taylor-pork-roll-or-taylor-hamI was so happy to find this today, made my whole day!

Dave, those are two very hard acts to follow.
They both look like good eats (and drinks). -

processhead Yep, they were both things i happened across on menus that we’ve talked about here before, which made me think it would be a fun thread. I hope other folks who are traveling or just find good meals that aren’t super common, will post here about it. I love hearing about good snausage places!

Hot corned beef reuben. NYC deli near Central Park and 7th Ave. They make their own corned beef and pastrami, so I figured this qualifies asa Meatgistics kind of place!
Got a reuben on rye.

An old thread popped up yesterday after 4 years, and I read it. It was about Hawaian Portuguese sausage. This morning, I was able to get Hawaian Portuguese sausage with my breakfast on O’ahu!
Not a huge fan, it seems basically cased chorizo. My son loved it though, and it was pretty cool to read about this yesterday, and try it today! Love trying new foods!
