Jonathon Any updates on the new #22 plates and knives as stated in the above tease? I am looking for a 6mm/.250 plate.

I have a Weston 44# mixer and would like to get a grinder that has reverse to attach to it. The Weston Pro #22 does but a is a bit pricey. Anyone use a Walton #22 for this mixer??
Thanks in advance.

I have the Weston butcher series #22 that will also drive that mixer. It might have a better price point for you. Not sure about the Walton’s one. I know it’s been discussed here but can’t find it. Someone will chime in on this. -
PapaSop thanks, that is good to know! Does the butcher series have reverse??

Yes. That said, I don’t use it. Has warning labels on it saying don’t use reverse for more than a few seconds at a time. If your looking to run that mixer in reverse there’s no need. Austin checked with Weston when I brought this up a few years ago. Weston said their mixers are designed so there is no need to run them in reverse.

jguarino69 Dave in AZ has an excellent post on this that I am going to post to in a minute here but in general the Waltons 50 lb mixer will hook up to other grinders but our grinder wont hook up to that Weston 44 lb model. We initially thought it would because if it works one way, why not the other but it has to do with the area around the hookup.
