I woke up and came right in, did all the cutting and got it tumbling then went home, worked out and came back in by 8. I was SUPPOSED to go to lunch after the 1st batch was done so I could load the 2nd batch because we are having our power shutdown for work on a power line today at 5. However, I am such a creature of habit that I just left at my regular lunch time and it never occurred to me until I got back here. So, got one batch done today and the other one goes in the smoker tomorrow. Good news is the jerky is delicious!

Now for the bad news. All of this jerky is going with us to BHA Rendezvous in Missoula next week! However, I am making another batch when I get back…for the Kansas One Shot Turkey hunting event in April…I will have something for the next live stream though!
