My fun for the day
-
Woke up this morning to my wife saying that she just saw a car roll several times and what should she do. I told her to call the cops, she then wanted to call the town cops, I told her no, call 911. How she is as smart as she is I don’t know sometimes! Anyway, I look and sure enough, a car has rolled what looks like numerous times on the other side of the road across my pond. We can see it in the street lights cause this was 4 am.
So, I hear her talking to the dispatcher and it sounds normal, she says the guy has gotten out of his car and walked up to the road. Nothing to worry about. Then I head her say “huh, he’s walking back to the car” so as I am walking over to look in case there is someone else in the car that needs help she says " Um, he just disappeared into the woods" and sure enough he was GONE.
Cops arrived a minute later and started looking for him and while I was getting ready to come in to work at 630 they were still searching for him. Now, here is the interesting part, that is EXACTLY where my dogs and I go for off the leash walks everyday at lunch. Bruts has an amazing nose and loves the smell of blood, so it will be interesting to see if we can follow where he went. Staying strapped so no worries about me and if I DO find him well…I know the saying about snitches so…

Generally a rolled or wrecked vehicle in the wee hours of the morning suggests the driver might have been under the influence. When the driver can walk away from the wreck and also avoid the law, that is almost a guarantee that someone was under the influence.

Jonathon under the influence, wanted or he’s grabbed something out of the car to hide in the woods. Doesn’t want to get caught with it

I heard that call this morning at work and would agree that he didn’t want contact with police for various reasons. Your dog may have fun on his walk today "hunting it up. " -

Tex_77 yep most likely drunk, high, or has warrants or a suspended drivers license. May have stolen the vehicle also. No reason to leave unless you are guilty. One other possibility would be a head injury. People do some pretty crazy things if they bonk their head pretty hard.

Jon just stumbled across Mexican border with a flesh-wound. Sometime in the morning he will wake up to the sound of a mariachi band.
