There have been some amazing games. Even teams that won by 10 or so, most of those games you weren’t sure about until under a minute. Hopefully it continues through the weekend and next week.

Denny O Not sure why Perdue keep putting up threes, they just seemed to stand around the three point line even when it went into the big guy.

bocephus And FDU had an exceptional defence. Like many teams these days “live by the 3 and die by the 3”. I think many think that when they see ome go through, it is easier and sparks the others. Do you think?

Denny O I think your right, but Perdue wasn’t seeing them go in. I think they should have moved in when FDU collapsed on the big guy, he is a good passer. I also thought they should have tried a zone in the second half to keep the big guy closer to the basket to shut down the middle. announcers said Perdue doesn’t do zones, but you have to adapt.

I don’t think Purdue has played zone all year long. Not sure they would have been able to just start playing good zone defense. It appeared they really had no plan B and wasn’t able to make any adjustments.

Guys…I am in real trouble here. Austin has SMOKED me in Walton’s bracket and I am not looking too good here either. Yes I am currently above him but I am basically busted and he has the opportunity to score WAY more points in the next rounds. Please pray for me, I really really cannot describe how little I want to eat that plate of Mashed Potatoes!
