Now all you need is one of those half inch drive impact guns and you have an electric stuffer!

processhead that is genius
processhead Chuck up the half inch impact driver to that stuffer now just for the fun of it.
processhead love it. Looked at them at antique shops before but they are always expensive. I will find one at a yard sale one day
processhead I keep hearing the Bud Light Real Men of Genius commercial, playing in my head when I read this.

Why donโt I remember seeing THIS?
Thatโs funny!

Well, all good stories start with โHey, Yโall watch this!โ Or my other favorite to use is: โHere, hold my beer!โ Something good is always about to happen after one of those 2 lines.
processhead Great work Paul. I was thinking the cheater or a breaker, but the big breaker that would give you the big leverage, with a roller might be too big for the table. I really like your ratchet set up. The only other option might be a big 1/2" square drive hand wheel or table handle, like for a drill press, if you can find one. Gret job on that!

Thanks, Dave. I have used these home-made extended stuffer handles for added leverage on snack stick. It works great, but it is kind of big.
processhead That is close to what I was thinking. Yes, sadly to say, for all the extra leverage, it looks like it may be a wee bit on the big side. Still, great job & even greater job with making the handles, even if they are big.
I donโt no how you do this stuff you built a smoker brew beer and now you can use a antique stuffer you must set and think a lot or else you are a genus

Too much time on my hands!!!..
processhead that heating the socket and pressing it on, is pretty darn impressive! I would not have thought of that.
Last week, I had to take a blowtorch up to a nut that was stuck on a bolt, on a pool pump. It expanded it enough to get off the slightly peened bolt end. But I still wouldnโt think that tool steel socket would flex! I love when a guy does something clever like this, and you seem to do it a lot! Thx for posting, I showed my kid as an example of can-do thinking!

The old-timers would say that when there was a tough nut that would not budge, then it was time to get out the Victor blue-flame wrench
processhead When I helped my father-in-law in his shop, he would say if all else fails get the fire wrench.
processhead
Yep. The Hot Wrench can persuade things to do what you want.
calldoctoday I love this idea. Having the ratchet action and just use the sweet spot. I do most stuffing by myself, and turning the handle a full 360 degrees has an awkward spotโฆ
processhead But, its going to good use, so nothing wrong with that. It is not wasted time.
