I ran interior trim crews at the time. We had two houses to complete in the same neighborhood… a very busy neighborhood for construction. An hour after the towers fell we were the only ones left in the subdivision. Everyone else packed up and went home. We might have left too but it was nearly two hours back home during normal traffic and the radios were saying traffic was backed up everywhere. I will not live long enough to forget that day.

Kurt Ratzlaff It is fun. Enjoy getting out with friends, great way to introduce young people to the sport if they don’t get frustrated with missing. I have been out with a lot of friends and their kids, we try to seperate them with an adult for safety and teaching. A lot like taking a kid fishing and starting them out on perch or sunfish, usually lots of action and you don’t have to be getting up at O dark thirty.

bocephus Breton is a fatty but he is only 13 feet long. For some reason, my brain is only scared once they get to about 15 feet. I feel like the 13-footer couldn’t really eat me, he could bite me and I’d probably die but it isn’t the bite that frightens me, it is the act of eating me that really makes my blood go cold!

Austin I definitely plan on making it out to visit family soon. I’m pretty close to my sister and her family. They lived in California when I was stationed there as a young Marine. My sister still blames for her boy’s “bad habits”, even 35 years later. My brother-in-law worked for Sutherland lumber until retiring last year. Her sons all live in the region with their families, and one lives in Goddard. He is the proud Dad of Madi and also one of the people who let me know about Walton’s when I was looking for seasoning and cure for venison processing. I’m glad I paid attention to him.

YooperDog The lake I used to fish had roads plowed, almost needed a map and road signs there were so many tracks. I didn’t drive out until I knew the ice was thick enough. Stayed away from inlets and outlets and weedy areas.

Bob Stehlik Yes it can definitely be used in an air fryer, I also use it on legs and thighs on a charcoal grill with great success.

bocephus That is a great idea too. Just use some dessicant crystal or Damp Rid or something like that, it will do the trick. You might even be able to use a sack of rice in a pinch. New Mexico is perfect for low humidity. We love it there when ever I get an inspection assignment out that way, which is been way to long ago now. I had one this year, but was already too busy when it came around.

bocephus I have seen some of those rigs and the in-laws own one. Just not real keen about driving across the ice with that much weight. I have seen to many vehicles sink below. But they are sweet rigs.

PapaSop We don’t buy the extra permits either, there are between 4 and 6 of us and if we get 3 or 4 deer we are usually pretty happy. Some years we didn’t even hunt the last couple of days of the season.

RandyNight I took the #22 for a spin yesterday through some deer, pork butts and pork fat and I can happily report it did a great job!
