kyle You can Laugh, but that is exactly what I have been doing until I pick up the escali a couple months ago. Electronic powder scale worked great.

    • RE: Favorite snack stick flavors?

I thought Willies was good until I tried others, my favorite so far is Habanero BBQ, I would not call it spicy, then Jalapeno, Fajita is bottom of the list for me, I just dont care for the flavor but others love it.

    • RE: Ghost Pepper Cheesy Brats Recommendation

I mix 1/3 Ghost pepper to 2/3 pepper jack, cuts down on the heat while still being spicy. The pepper jack is kinda blah and the ghost pepper will light you up pretty good so mixing works well. I really like a high temp Habanero and would love to see Waltons stock that.

    • RE: Website suggestion

Jonathon Yes that would be the idea, so your User ID/login Id was one thing and then the display name when you posted would be a something else. I thought it was odd when I saw people with multi word logins/display names. If I had known when I setup an account that the login ID would be the display name, I probably would have tried to be more creative, I guess I was smart enough not to use my email address at the time though. That being said, it looks like it would be easy enough to change your username under the edit profile area, but then it might be awkward to login all the time with a username of something like “Billy “The Big Studly Teddy Bear” Johnson” all the time.

No worries if its not something you guys want to allow, just a suggestion.

It would be nice to be able to change your display name and have it be different than your login ID. Like it does in Gleam, login is your email address but displays your Name .

    • RE: Pickled Red Hots

Thanks for all the info, I already picked the sausages and as soon as I make some room in the fridge, these are going in. I have to get the buckboard bacon and Cured pork tenderloin on the smoker to make some room.

wdaly Question, do you process these in a canner, refrigerate or can you just leave out on the counter like the ones we used to see in the bars and mom and pop stores?

    • RE: Trying to make an order.

Jonathon I was just trying to place an order and use the coupon code and am getting an error. If I try to add the code in the cart, I get “Coupon does not apply” if I add it during checkout I get “The gift certificate or coupon code is invalid”
      in my cart are:
5lb high temp cheddar, a snack stick seasoning, and a couple of Exaclibur shakers.

      Any insight?
