Butcher Butcher makes custom updates to Meatgistic’s Leather Aprons
The staff at Butcher Butcher and Joe Hell made some changes to the Meatgistic’s Leather Apron and use them daily. The rivets and clasps were changed to some more durable hardware. Also, an x or y strap was added to help support the weight of the leather material.
“The meat cutters wear it and love it for the look and durability. They get many compliments from the customers … Overall, the guys love it but with a few tweaks it could be amazing.” quote from Joe Hell .

Tennessee man with meat smoker feeds people after Kentucky Tornado
This story kind of hit home for me. After losing about all of my possessions in a tornado that destroyed my home in July 2016, it took a lot of help from family and neighbors to get back on my feet. I remember the town was basically closed down. I could not get to my home and eventually drove a half hour to the nearest town just to get a cheeseburger from McDonalds and some clean clothes from Walmart. The victims of these natural disasters are in shock, not sure what their next move is, and are processing the loss of loved ones, their homes, and possessions. The last thing they need to worry about is where to get a good meal. Kudos to this man for his kind actions.

RE: What did everyone cook today?
Another by chance lunch at Walton’s. We started the day by making Maple Bacon Snack Sticks. With the leftover meat I made patties and added a blueberry bagel I had brought for lunch. The bagel was perfect for the maple bacon pork burger. I didn’t even use any dressing or sauce and it was great!

RE: What did everyone cook today?
Thanks to Walton’s I made something delicious out of my $5 lunch budget for today. I boiled Dollar Tree potstickers and made Ramen noodles (threw away the seasoning packet). After boiling the potstickers I then put them in the toaster oven. I added Excalibur Mandarin Teriyaki Marinade and Smoke Flavored Sea Salt. Kind of turned very little into something that was tasty.

RE: What did everyone cook today?
This recipe is called the first things I could find in the kitchen in a hurry this morning because I was running late. Leftover cornish game hen and cheddar and broccoli noodle side seasoned with Excalibur Southwest Mesquite Rub and Terrapin Ridge Farms Creamy Italian White Balsamic Dressing.
