RE: 15 Year Old with her own business
Hey y’all. I’m Rylee and I am known as the Steak Princess. Karen is actually my mom. We had to put her name on the business with me only being 15 we didn’t want it to hurt my chances of scholarships down the road when I go to college. First I would like to say thank y’all so much for the support that yall have already given me. We have already shipped out several orders today. I have been cooking competition since I was 11. I created all 4 of my rubs myself from just mixing different things together until I came up with combos that I thought would enhance the meat and people would enjoy. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I would love to be a part of your podcast one day. Thank you so much for your support.

Thank you for the order. I usually pack all the orders myself. My parents will help out sometimes though. They have been real supportive but they definitely make me work for it. -

kyle I hope to go to Ole Miss as they have talked about doing a culinary program there. I am also a sports fanatic and love college football so I have also thought about athletic trainer just in case the rub and seasonings don’t work out

Deepwoodsbutcher Thank you for your order. When i was creating these rubs I tried to keep the salt content as low as possible. A lot of teams combine rubs that already high in salt like an AP rub so when they pair them with my rubs they work well together. Also when we compete a lot of judges seem to be older and they have already had to have salt removed from their diet so if I turn in things that tend to be salty I could get possibly get a bad score. Also I tried to keep the home cooks in mind because a lot of people don’t like heavy salt and I really want to be in with all the home cooks.
