Jonathon thank you for the info. I might try the chicken fried pheasant, sounds like schnitzel. The bacon wrapped breasts in some cast iron with a good sauce might just buy me some points with my wife. I will search for the ragoon video. I haven’t done snack sticks with poultry yet so maybe I can put aside enough for a small batch. Any suggestions on flavor?

Thank you, I didn’t even think about that

I have some pheasants and chuckars to use up any ideas, otherwise they are going to end up in pot pies and hand pies. Probably have enough for some sausage, but looking for some other ideas.

Try Nuts.com, some grocery stores carry them along with some health food/natural food stores.

Bob Stehlik always plenty of seating. We have away 3/4 of the cake and I am learning to down size my recipes. With just the two of us I try to keep things down to four servings, haven’t figured it out yet for baking.

Made healthy refried beans, a seared vegetable salad and fajita stuffed avocados. Dessert was a tres’ leche cake with whipped cream mango infused frosting finished with a ranch water.

Bob Stehlik Life got pretty busy. and I needed to take a step back, deal with some things and reevaluate. All is good up here, we just got 16" of heavy wet snow these last two days. I am still on the right side of the grass and have tried to stay up to speed with all that is going on, looks like I still missed a lot.

processhead i do the same,. I try to flip them, but life just seems to get in the way. The oil frees me up from the flipping task

ND Mike glad to hear that you had a great time and made some awesome memories. I have family and friends up there and have spent time in AK. There is lots to see and do especially after the spring melt.

glen yep when I worked for USPS both other services would pickup and drop off packages that we would push to the carriers and P/U packages to move to move along their systems.

Dave in AZ as kyle mentioned they do get better with some drying. Growing up the market would just have them hanging behind the counter drying. I prefer them dried a bit 5-7 days and stuffed in sheep casings but have made them in collagen

Dave in AZ how ya gonna learn w/o making mistakes. I have done similar DA mistakes. I have an old round face scale and it has two scales on it, metric and the US. I have many lessons learned from not paying attention to the scale. Gone digital now and keep it around to remind me to pay attention to details.
