I don’t know if I added this post before, but it is for 50# Waltons mixer with L EM bigbite #22, which works.

Tom Foreman the dry rub bacon cure is 1/2 lb per 10 pounds of pork belly. Rub equal amounts cure to both sides of pork belly and rest in fridge or cooler for minimum 7 days. Rinse, soak in cool water 30 minutes, rinse, soak again this will reduce saltiness. There is a video on process

I did not gret any emails about the June livestream like I usually do. I was looking for it so I could change my schedule to make sure I was home for it. Looking around it says there was a livestream on the 27th of June. Was that the normal monthly one? If it was, did you send out emails this time? I hope that you will continue to send out the emails for upcoming livestreams. The night before would be even better than a few hours prior to event. I look forward to them and am disappointed when I find out I missed it. Thank you for your response.

Personally, I would like to know if you ever tried to operate this stuffer through the entire stroke, fully assembled and completely empty. If you did, did it function properly through the entire “Stroke”?

Jonathon Well, I tried the fix on Edge to see if I could get rid of that issue of not being able to log in sporadically the past several weeks. At first I thought it worked, but then all of the sudden that “Looks Like Your Session has Expired” error & “Looks Like Your Connection to Walton’s has Been Lost” error came up again & went into a loop that I could not get out of. Finally was able to log in this evening again with no problem.

We’ve identified the issue, it is bot requests to crawl the page. Working on getting them either stopped or blocked. Should be back to normal by today. cdavis WHY are you up at 3:20 am? Even I am still nice and comfy in bed at that time!

Working those good Ole 12hr nights 🌙 tend to keep me awake all hours of the night. But it does help me catch up on all the posts. A guy can get way behind on here in a hurry. This thing has really grown over the last couple of years.

woodchuck777 Kind of like how you do some Virginia hams & certainly salted Mullet. Good idea. I think milk works good too, like for fish, etc.
